Career

Minor Leagues(from the start of Career to 2012)

Aaron Judge was an excellent sportsman already since high school period. He went to Linden high school. During that time, Aaron was able to play three sports vividly. In baseball, he played as a pitcher and first baseman. In football, Aaron was a wide receiver and a player who was a school record setter for touchdowns. Also, he was a point giving player for his basketball game. He played for Linden high school baseball team which was able to play for California interscholastic federation division III playoffs.

Many colleges recruited him to play football, like Stanford and UCLA, but he was more into baseball. Therefore Oakland athletics was the team which selected him in the 31st round of 2010 MLB draft .however he chose another way as he went to Fresno State to play for Fresno state bulldogs team in WAC (western athletic conference).In 2011, Fresno state won WAC season and WAC tournament too, qualifying for 2011 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. He was freshman Al-American.

He won 2012 TD Ameritrade college home run derby too. The judge was the one, who led the Bulldogs in home runs, doubles and runs batted in. Because of his outstanding games, he got listed to the all-conference team for all of his three seasons with Bulldogs in WAC. Two times in WAC and One time in MW(west mountain conference).

Minor Leagues(2013 onwards)

For the first 2013 major league basketball draft, Aaron Judge was drafted by The Yankees with the 32nd overall selection. Judge signed with the Yankees with a $1.8 million signing bonus. Unfortunately, he forced out as he tore quadriceps femoris muscle while practicing base running drill whole 2013 season.

Later, he professionally debuted with Charleston river dogs of the class a South Atlantic league in 2014. He gave his excellent performance. Yankees promoted him to Tampa of class A-advanced Florida state league during the season, he again played outstanding. The judge was invited by Yankees to spring training as a non-roster player in 2015. Judge played the season with the Trenton Thunder of the Class AA Eastern League which is a Double-A affiliate 21 of the Yankees. Because of outstanding performance, the Yankees again promoted Judge to the Wilkes-Barre Rail Riders League in June.

Yankees chose Judge to represent at the 2015 All-Star Futures Game. Judge batted .224/.308/.373 and eight home runs in 61 games for Wilkes-Barre.

2016

In 2016 he was invited by Yankees for spring training. The same year, Judge was the International League All-Star Team in 2016. However, he was not able to play as he was spending a month on the disabled list.

Aaron was a second Yankee player after Joe Lefebvre to do so. Unfortunately, he ended quite early when he was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a grade 2 right oblique strains after playing against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

2017 (Start)

That same day, Judge went with two home runs, one of it traveled 495 feet (151 m), the longest in MLB in the 2017 season. The judge was named the AL Player of the Week as His week ended leading him to the AL in all three Triple Crown categories. Hence, Judge was named the AL Player of the Month for June. His superb performance helped to win his third consecutive AL Rookie of the Month award. On July 2, Judge got the vote as a starting outfielder to the 2017 MLB All-Star Game with 4,488,702 votes, the highest out of any player.

2017 (July Achievement)

On July 7, Judge broke Joe DiMaggio’s record for most home runs hit in a Yankees’ rookie season with his 30th home run. Before the All-Star break, Aaron hit .329 with 30 home runs and 66 RBIs and won the 2017 Home, Run Derby. After the fantastic performance, MLB commissioner praised him. On July 21, Aaron hit a home run for which start cast was failed to measure as it was very hard-hit.

Judge hit his 33rd of 37 home runs total from his first 125 career games, which was the third-most in MLB history. On August 20, Judge tied the record of pitcher Bill Stoneman’s streak of striking out in 37 consecutive games.

2017 (September Achievement)

Judge became the first AL rookie on September 4 to record 100 walks in a single season after Al Rosen, the first player in MLB to do it after Jim Gilliam (1953). During a game on September 10, Judge got his 107th walk; the most walks by a rookie in a rookie in a season after Ted Williams in 1939. During the same game, he became the second rookie in MLB history to hit 40 home runs in a season after McGwire (1987).

2018

On March 31, 2018, Judge made his first career start at center field in the majors becoming the tallest and heaviest player in baseball history to play that position.

Judge became the fastest player on April 16, in MLB history to reach 60 home runs.

On June 5, Judge then earned a Platinum Sombrero, not only that much but he struck out eight times in nine against the Detroit Tigers, setting a record becoming the first MLB player to hit eight strikeouts in a doubleheader. The judge was the fastest player of all-time to hit 50 home runs at home on June 29.

Due to excellent performance, Judge earned a position of a starting outfielder for the 2018 Major League Baseball All-Star Game.
