Marilyn Monroe Early Life

Hollywood’s one of the most famous and dominantly beautiful Marilyn Monroe was born in the year 1926, on June 1. Marilyn was born in Los Angeles, California, United States of America. During her time alive, Marilyn became a sex symbol and managed to revolutionize how society saw women in general.

At the time of her death, Marilyn Monroe, the blonde bombshell, was just a young 36 years old woman, utterly beautiful and defying nature. Defying nature in the sense that even at the age of 36, Marilyn managed to preserve her evergreen looks. Monroe also dominated any other beautiful face in the business, all that very easily.

Born as Norma Jeane Mortenson to mother Gladys Pearl Baker, Monroe never knew her father’s identity. Even if Monroe did know the identity of her father, she never discussed it and let it be like that always. Monroe’s mother was a poor woman who married a man named John Newton Baker at the age of 15.

Monroe, despite having a poor mother did not actually face many financial troubles while growing up. Her mother managed to buy a small home in Hollywood and moved in that home with Monroe, who at that time was just seven years old. After her mother diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, Monroe began living in different places.

During her stay at the Atkinsons, Monroe suffered sexual abuse and moved out of the home and started living in Los Angeles Orphans Home. In 1938, Monroe began living with Ana Lower, and Ana also enrolled Monroe through school. During a brief time, Monroe also lived with the Goddards family.

For the most part of her life, Monroe experienced temporary homes and often suffered abuse, mostly sexual. However, later in life, Monroe came off as one of the boldest women ever.

Marilyn Monroe Education

In most of the western countries out there, people or precisely saying, most parents tend to focus on their children’s education more. While Asian parents reportedly have that kind of notorious reputation going around, western parents are no less. However, there are always some exceptions.

For Marilyn, who, while growing up, never knew her father always remained pretty shy towards everything. The idea of a school for the most part of her childhood remained foreign to her, as well. As mentioned, for the most part of her childhood, Marilyn always moved from home to home, and this robbed her of the chance of going to school early on.

However, after starting to live with Ana Lower, Marilyn began going to high school. While her time is staying with Ana Lower, Marilyn went to Emerson Junior High School, and at the school, Monroe also began indulging herself in religious chores as well. During her high school days, Marilyn attended the Christian Science services with Ana Lower.

However, again moving from living with Ana Lower to the Goddards family, Marilyn changed her school because she changed the place she was living in as well. After starting to live with the Goddards, Marilyn relocated to living in Van Nuys. The same year, Marilyn started attending Van Nuys High School.
