Cult horror film director Norman J. Warren’s first feature film Her Private Hell is being released by the BFI as part of their Flipside range and is available to pre-order at Amazon and elsewhere. I wrote some of the booklet notes for this release, so am obviously rather keen to promote it! It’s a great slice of 1960s sexploitation and makes for entertaining viewing. The blu ray has some great extras, including two rare short films made by Norman when he was young and a half hour documentary about the pin-up girls of Penthouse magazine!
The release is being celebrated with an event on Thursday 1st March at The Cinema Museum in London, where Norman J. Warren will be interviewed on stage by the BFI’s Jo Botting.
