					<description>You will be royally entertained and enthralled by O'Brian's Aubrey / Maturin novels; I envy anyone reading them for the first time.

You'll discover that the film is an amalgam of several of the books, not just the two usually referred to; watch it again after you've read them (which is no hardship, it a marvellous piece of work), and you'll see bits of narrative and characters referred to from across the series. 

I was hoping for a sequel myself, but I'm content now with the one, nigh on perfect, film.</description>
