					<description>Thanks, Daniel (just found your comment waiting to be deleted in the spam bin!).  He is a consistently interesting director even among these earlier films and through to his last couple of commercial offerings.  The early material (prior to Shivers/Rabid) is not easy to like but there are seeds there that grew into blossoming conceptual trees for some of his later films when he had managed to streamline techniques that made his work more approachable.</description>

					<description>Excellent review. I haven't seen this and I'm not too sure I want to, but Cronenberg's work is inherantly fascinating so I should seek it out.</description>
