I bought this one for my brother at Xmas and watched it Xmas day with my family. Its a great classic sci-fi film and even though you can tell its very very old its still great fun to watch. The effects dont look bad at all...some of them had me thinking "how did they do that back then?!". The background soundtrack is really really odd and unsettling and really helps the film in my opinion.

I should mention the extras - The Invisible Boy is a good bit of fun in itself. The documentary about sci-fi films featuring Spielburg, Ridley Scott, James Cameron, George Lucas is very very good and its worth buying the 2xdvd just for this documentary even if you dont like the film!

Its available at a very good price now and I think any sci-fi fan needs this one in their collection.
