Blue Underground (US again) have since acquired it from them and basically re-released the same thing again but at a cheaper price. They're both still available from DVD Pacific at very good prices. I can't say whether this material is as dark as you were expecting as you've seen many more westerns than I have, I hope it can live up to your expectations. It used to be in a box set on R1, but for some reason I could never get it. I was looking again for it on Play the other week and still no joy (although I noticed an R1 release was around the corner). Where did you get it? It looks about as grim as these films get, with the possible exception of The Great Silence, which is the grimmest film I've ever seen I think.
