I'm glad you like the Clone Wars, Charlie (I see you've rated it third amongst all the movies, which shows its value), and obviously am overjoyed at the prospect of a Jack movie.

One day though I'll be proved right about Attack of the Clones. Oh yes, one day.

I see it:

1) Empire Strikes Back
2) A New Hope
3) Clone Wars: The Animated Series
4) Revenge of The Sith
5) The Return of The Jedi
6) The Phantom Menace

On your recommendation, I watched The Clone Wars animated series and throughly enjoyed it, so much so that I have it third. Don't know if you've heard, but there's a Samurai Jack movie now in the works from the same guy.

And I'm aware I've omitted The Clone Wars Movie but I haven't seen it in an age. I watched it at the cinema and in truth it bored the pants off me back then. Willing to give it a second try however.

a few months ago i was asked which was my favourite star wars film of the lot. tellingly, i went for the empire strikes back, basically for the same reasons you gave here mickey.

return of the jedi is just too long. i haven't watched it for years, it has a good start and a good end for my money but the middle (and the middle is the vast majority of it) is weaker than anything else in the series, spare perhaps for the phantom menace, which in addition to that lovely lightsaber battle had the podrace to boast.

mind you, the only star wars films i've watched in the last couple of years are probably episodes 3, 4 and 5. perhaps i should give the series in general a revisit, i've never watched all 6 in sequence (although the first 3 we have on good old dvd and the second 3 on a scratchy old vhs).

p.s. good to see you're still going there mr side :P
