New Themes
We’ve updated a few of the themes available to users. One isn’t entirely compatible with Internet Explorer 6 but the quality of it means it’ll stay in place.
To change the theme on your Journal, go to ‘Presentation’ in your blog control panel and select from the available options.
If you notice any bugs or issues with any of the themes on the site, please let us know. Likewise if there are any Wordpress themes you would like us to try out on FilmJournal.net just post the link in the comments below.

I setup my blog yesterday and it’s all working well so far -so thank you! It would be nice to have a few more options with regard to look and feel of blogs, but I’m sure all in good time. The only problem I’ve had so far is when trying to upload an image, I get the following error:

Unable to create directory /var/www/virtualservers/filmjournal.net/htdocs/wp-content/blogs.dir/144/files/2006/08. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

It’s no biggie though as I just uploaded it somewhere else and linked to it.
Thought I should let you know though.

Is it possible to create a seperate page for all the themes you had up so far? I wanted a theme you offered previously, but you no longer have available. I cant remember the name of it either.

Unfortunately most themes that are no longer have been removed for compatibility reasons.
Can you describe the look of the theme and I’ll investigate what the problem was.

That one has lots of problems with larger blogs - the guys at Wordpress don’t know why so I need to look at it in more depth.

Hi, I’ve changed my theme. However, at the top of the screen, I can see the following error message:
WordPress database error: [Table ‘filmjournal.wp_36_Counterize’ doesn’t exist]
INSERT INTO wp_36_Counterize (IP, timestamp, url, referer, useragent) VALUES (’80.229.31.20′,’2006-08-16 21:56:58′, ‘/bangerman/’, ‘unknown’, ‘Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1)’)
Any idea what this is?

Hello all.
Just set up my own couple of hours ago. And still it seems many themes have problems.
What recently occurred (I’ve mailed some of these to admin at filmjournal dot net): 1) ‘Warning: in_array(): Wrong datatype for second argument in /var/www/virtualservers/filmjournal.net/htdocs/wp-content/themes/vistered-little-1/themetoolkit.php on line 333′ in /wp-admin/themes.php, but the update succeeds; 2) js-controlled post options always tried to get me out of dashboard when I use IE; 3) There are times when iframe for preview failed to load.
As mark said, they’re no biggie tho.
